Booth Museum

The museum is located opposite Dyke Road Park, which has a great café and playground.

All about birds, butterflies, fossils, and bones. Visitors of all ages will love this fascinating place!

There is no doubt that the Booth Museum is quirky and it will inspire anyone with a love of natural history. Founded as a Victorian collector’s private museum, the Booth Museum now brings natural history to life with interactive displays and ‘hands on’ activities.

Whilst the museum is wheelchair accessible, and all on one level (once inside), step-free wheelchair access is via the rear entrance. See the museum's accessibility statement for further details.   

PLEASE NOTE: The museum closes from 12:00-13:15 daily. Not to worry - a great opportunity for a picnic lunch and play in the park opposite!

There is a small gift shop at the front of the museum, full of pocket-money treats.
