The park is spacious, with lots of open green space for picnics and ball games. A lovely cafe in the modern Pavilion building (open for takeaway only at the time of visiting) serves a good selection of refreshments, ice cream and pizza.
Please note: At the time of visiting (27/08/20) the cafe toilets remained closed due to COVID-19 restrictions. Alternative facilities are located in Bell Street, by the entrance to Morrisons.
