The delightful, well-kept setting makes this a wonderful place to visit for an hour or so - particularly on a sunny day. There is a decent play park in the field behind the ruins and the level, smooth paths are wheel-friendly and perfect for toddlers.
Dogs are welcome and allowed off the lead, provided they are kept under control.
