Priory Park and Ruins

Children and adults alike will love exploring the impressive remains of this 11th century monastery. The detailed interpretation panels allow you to walk in the footsteps of medieval monks and imagine how the buildings once looked.

The delightful, well-kept setting makes this a wonderful place to visit for an hour or so - particularly on a sunny day. There is a decent play park in the field behind the ruins and the level, smooth paths are wheel-friendly and perfect for toddlers.
Dogs are welcome and allowed off the lead, provided they are kept under control.
