Absolute scooting paradise! Voted Britain's favourite nature reserve (2016), Rye Harbour Nature Reserve is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a truly wonderful place to visit as a family.
* Famous for its bird life, use the accessible hides and boards to spot and
identify the huge variety of species
* Beach combing and stone skimming
* Watch the fishing boats come into the harbour
* Explore the World War II Pillboxes (designed to house machine guns)

OPEN:
The Nature Reserve and birdwatching hides are open at all times. The Visitor Centre is open 10am-4pm daily.

The ground is level and most footpaths have a lovely smooth surface, making Rye Harbour suitable for wheels of all kinds. A small Visitor Centre is located approximately 200m from the car park
Bring a picnic to enjoy on the beach or visit one of the lovely pubs in the village.
Toilet facilities are located a short distance from the car park.
Dogs are welcome, but please.....
