Tide Mills

Walk Tide Mills to Seaford seafront. Stop for refreshments at the sailing club (dog friendly).

Tide Mills was once a thriving working village, where tidal-powered mills ground and produced flour to export across southern England.
* Explore the remains of a 19th century mill village
* Learn about the buildings and what life was like for the people who lived there
* Use the interpretation panels to identify flora and fauna, including rare sea birds
* Go beach combing - sand is revealed at low tide and there's a long skeleton pier which is fun both to walk along and to explore underneath
