The woodland trail takes approx. 1 hour (there is an option to reduce the length for littler legs). lt is incredibly well sign-posted and impossible to get lost!

The paths are generally wide and relatively flat but are uneven in places. There is a mix of partially surfaced and unsurfaced terrain, so walking boots/wellies are recommended after periods of wet weather. In our opinion, the woods are unsuitable for pushchairs.

Refreshments (drinks, ice cream & cake) are served Fri-Sun throughout the summer (cash only). There are also lots of picnic tables (including some under cover) to enjoy your own picnic at.

Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead.

There is a large car park and the toilets are located close to the entrance, beside the play area.
