The Beach on the Beach is an enclosed area full of perfect 'sandcastle building' sand which children can enjoy even if the tide is in. The adjacent play park 'Play on the Beach' is bright and modern. Filled with interesting wooden play structures with a seaside theme. Younger children will be in their element!
Combine your visit here with a scoot, cycle or walk along the promenade and maybe bring a picnic to enjoy on the beach. The pier, though far from magnificent (much of the structure has been lost to sea over the years), provides an interesting vantage point along the coastline.
