There is no doubt that the Booth Museum is quirky and it will inspire anyone with a love of natural history. Founded as a Victorian collector’s private museum, the Booth Museum now brings natural history to life with interactive displays and ‘hands on’ activities.

The museum is wheelchair accessible, and all on one level once inside but there are steps up to the main entrance. Step-free wheelchair access is available at the rear. See the museum's accessibility statement for further details.   


There is a small gift shop at the front of the museum, full of pocket-money treats but food and drink is not sold on the premises. A cafe is located across the street, adjacent to the playground.
