There are mile markers along the length of the trail. Ride as far as you wish.

The trail runs for 11 miles, following the former 'Cuckoo Line' railway track from Heathfield to Polegate, passing through the towns of Horam and Hailsham.
There are access points at each of the towns along the route, with free car parks at Heathfield (TN21 8DA), Horam (TN21 0HL), Hellingly (Station Road, nearest postcode BN27 4EU) and Hailsham (BN27 2AU) and on-street parking at Polegate (School Lane, approx. postcode BN26 6PT).
The trail is popular with pedestrians, cyclists, wheelchair users and horse riders. Please share the path respectfully with other users, keeping left and to a safe speed.
Dog waste bins are located along the route.
Please note, although the trail is surfaced, grit on parts of the trail may make it unsuitable for scooting.
