From the main car park and Bale House Visitor Centre there are two 'Access for All' paths (0.8 km and 0.6 km each way), which are suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. These lead to picnic tables and provide stunning viewpoints across the colourful heathland.

For those travelling on foot, there is a large network of paths and trails to choose from. Use the map to select a route/distance to suit your family. We visited on a clear day in February and really couldn't believe that we hadn't been here before - having lived within an hours' drive our whole lives! We can't wait to go back!

Dogs are welcome, but must be kept under control. Please pick up after your dog (waste bins are provided).

Facilities:

Toilets and a range of light refreshments can be found in the Visitor Centre.

Cycling is prohibited here.
