Heaven Farm Discovery Trail
The discovery trail passes three ponds - the second of which is a stunning picnic spot!

* Take a nature walk through woodland and across open fields in search of Farmer John's missing animals. Can you find them all?
* Watch the wallabies and feed the huge carp (fish food is available from the ticket office)
* Stand in both the Eastern and Western Hemispheres at the same time as you traverse the Greenwich Meridian!
* Enjoy a delicious ice cream from Latchetts Parlour - made fresh daily using milk from the farm's own herd! There were 18(!) flavours on offer when we visited!!

The full trail takes approx. 1 hour. There are options to reduce the distance for littler legs

Summer opening hours: M-Th 10am-5.30pm, F & Sat 10am-7pm and Sun 10am-6pm
Follow the numbered way-marks around the discovery trail. The paths are generally wide and relatively flat (though uneven in places). As the paths are unsurfaced we recommend walking boots/wellies during periods of wet weather and in our opinion, the terrain is unsuitable for pushchairs.
There are lots of picnic tables available to sit at whilst you enjoy your ice cream and an eclectic mix of speciality hens and ducks can often be seen wandering around too!
Al fresco food is available during the summer months (until 6th Sept '20). Wood fired pizzas from the Posh Pizza Company are served on Fridays and Saturdays (3-9 pm) and on Sundays, chill out and relax with a hog roast or bbq feast (vendor varies by date) from 12-6pm.
