Paddling pool is open from May Day Bank Holiday weekend to mid-Sept. Other facilities open year-round.
The attractive setting beside Hove Lagoon (open Apr-Nov) makes for an interesting walk, as you watch various water-sports taking place. The children's play area is tailored to younger children (under 8s). Toilets, picnic tables, a small skate park and a good cafe serving hot and cold snacks are located nearby.
After your trip to the park, consider visiting the beach and promenade. Simply head up the ramp beside the outdoor gym equipment.
Whilst dogs can be exercised on a lead around Hove Lagoon, they are not permitted in the play or paddling pool areas. From 1 May to 30 September, dogs are not permitted on the beaches immediately in front of Hove Lagoon.
