The trail is approximately 4 km each way - from the RSPB nature reserve, across Pulborough Brooks and through the village to Pulborough station. Or vice versa! The way marks en route helpfully state approximately how long (in mins) it will take to reach the end of the trail.
We had lunch in a lovely cafe (Little Bean), which we found as we entered the village from Pulborough Brooks. They had a children's menu and dogs were welcome too. A small Londis shop was located just across the street from here. Aside from a small station refreshment stand and a fish and chip shop (located close to the station), we did not come across any other options for a lunchtime meal.
If undertaking the trail in reverse (from Pulborough station), then the cafe at the RSPB nature reserve would be an excellent option for refreshments.
Toilets are located at the RSPB Visitor Centre and Pulborough station. There are no other public conveniences en route.
We visited at the end of November, after an unusually wet period. Wellies were a must(!) as parts of the walk were boggy and extremely muddy.
Dogs are welcome!
