Situated alongside the meandering River Ouse, in the heart of Lewes, this 27-acre wildlife haven is a great place to go for a stroll with the family. The reserve was once a busy railway marshalling yard that has now been reclaimed by nature. It is a tranquil space just a stone's throw from the hustle and bustle of town.

  • Peaceful river-side walk

  • Flat, surfaced paths

  • Race to the top of the mount for a birds-eye view

  • Spot frogs, newts and fish in the ponds

  • Beautiful wildflowers, which buzz with life in the Spring and Summer months
