The woodland trail takes approx. 1 hour (there is an option to reduce the length for littler legs). lt is incredibly well sign-posted and impossible to get lost!

The paths are generally wide and relatively flat but are uneven in places. There is a mix of partially surfaced and unsurfaced terrain, so walking boots/wellies are recommended after periods of wet weather. In our opinion, the woods are unsuitable for pushchairs.

Refreshments - drinks, cake (+ icecream in the summer) are served Tue-Sun, 10am-4pm. There are also lots of picnic tables (including some under cover) to enjoy your own picnic at.

Friendly dogs are welcome, and can be off-lead when outside the main 'hub' area.

There is a large car park and the toilets are located close to the entrance, beside the play area.
