The formal gardens greet you as you enter the park. Follow the super smooth paths to discover manicured hedges and colourful borders. From here, head downhill, through an open green space towards the lake. Today, a large block of flats stands on the site of the former Victorian mansion.
Visitors can walk right around the lake. Whilst the path here is surfaced, it is very bumpy and unsuitable for scooting.
Continue past the lake to reach a residential road that marks the northern boundary of Worth Park. On the other side of the road you'll find the playground and playing fields belonging to Grattons Park. Head beyond the playing fields to discover a wilder area of parkland, designated a local nature reserve.
Parking: The visitor's car park (for around 20 cars) is located adjacent to the Grade II listed Ridley's Court (stable block of the former mansion). The toilets are also located here.
Refreshments: Ridley's Cafe, serving hot drinks, cakes and snacks from a converted horsebox. A Tesco Express can be found in the parade of shops adjacent to the Grattons Park playground.
