CISSBURY RING
Findon, Worthing, West Sussex

Climb up to the site of the largest Iron Age hill fort in Sussex. There is plenty of open space here - perfect for flying a kite!

South Harting, Petersfield, West Sussex/Hampshire Border
Harting Down (managed by the National Trust) is a glorious area of open chalk downland. There are some great hills to run down here - brilliant for launching kites!

DEVIL'S DYKE
Poynings, Brighton
Legend has it that the Devil dug the valley here to drown the parishioners of the Weald! Described by John Constable as "the grandest view in the world", the hillsides at Devil's Dyke are wonderful places to fly a kite.

* Wow - what a view!
* Easy, stress-free walking - simply follow the coloured arrow way-marks.
* Devil's Dyke was home to a funfair in Victorian times. Can you spot the remains of the funicular railway station?

CROWLINK
Between Eastbourne and Seaford, East Sussex
An outstanding combination of rolling hills and stunning clifftop views make this adventure in the South Downs National Park unmissable! The walk to the coastline cliffs is gently downhill from the car park.

No huge hills to climb here, as the car park is right at the top of the Downs! The terrain at Butts Brow is gently rolling, and the hillsides of open chalk downland usually provide a breeze strong enough to fly a kite.
