Hallowclean Silent Disco Beach Clean - Brighton
Did you know? Approximately 5,000 items of marine plastic pollution have been found per mile of beach in the UK.** Each year these plastics kill thousands of seabirds and marine mammals.
This fantastic, free family event (run by Pier 2 Pier Beach Clean) is all about working together to help rid the shingle of litter, whilst listening to your own personal soundtrack of Halloween Hits!
Not just for Halloween! These events happen every month, with various themes throughout the year.

2 Minute Beach Cleans - Various Seafront Locations (in Sussex & Beyond)

# 2minutebeachclean stations have been popping up along the UK coast since 2014, with the aim of making it easier for beach goers to pick up marine litter every time they visit the beach.
The beach clean stations are A-Frame boards with outer holders for litter pickers and used carrier bags. Users take a litter picker and carrier bag, fill it up with litter for 2 minutes or more and dispose of the litter in nearby bins or recycling points.
Founded on the principle that every piece of litter removed from the beach matters. It doesn't matter if you do 2 minutes or 30 - each and every piece of plastic removed from the beach is a piece that is no longer a danger to the animals that still live there.
