Three Stunning Sandy Beaches in Sussex!

As school holidays start and with the temperature set to hit 30 degrees here in Sussex, it's time to hit the beach! But we know everyone longs for golden sand so... we've hand-picked three incredible sandy beaches in Sussex for you - no plane ride required!

Top tip - Google tide times the night before to perfect your day!

Camber Sands

A stunning long sandy beach (around 2 miles) backed by high dunes. Camber is just a 10-minute drive from the charming (and historic) town of Rye.

West Beach

This lovely beach is accessed via a short walk across beautiful white dunes on wooden walkways. The pebble beach gives way to expansive flat golden sand as the tide recedes. A wonderful place for a picnic or a game of beach cricket and an absolute paradise for dogs, who are welcome year-round.

West Wittering

A fabulous long stretch of unspoilt golden sand. Designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, at low tide the sea goes out a long way, creating lovely safe splash pools for children.
