Free Places to Visit in & Around Midhurst

The pretty market town of Midhurst in West Sussex is worth exploring! The buildings around the Market Square date back to the 16th century and there are a wealth of independent shops to discover. The South Downs Centre (free entry) is located close to the centre of town, with exhibitions introducing visitors to the South Downs' landscapes, geology, produce and heritage and a small interactive area for children. From here it is just a short walk to the magnificent ruins of Cowdray House and the world-famous polo ground of Cowdray Park.
